Connecting to the Projector

Using the Chapel requires a 2-hour training session with Regent IT. Email [email protected] to book a session. Using the Chapel without proper training is not allowed.

Connect Computer with HDMI

Via Podium HDMI

  1. Turn on the projector (see Using the Projector Remote)
  2. On the Muxlabs video switcher, press the "Projector" button until #2 is highlighted
  3. Once you are done please change the "Projector" button back to #1
  4. Plug your computer into the podium’s HDMI port.
    • There should be two HDMI cables (short and long) in the podium storage slot. There is a third HDMI cable (50 feet) in the sound room. It is not bi-directional. The end labelled "source" must be plugged into your computer.
    • If you need a display adapter, please check the battery shelf in the AV room. There is display port to HDMI and USB-C to HDMI. Otherwise ask for one at Reception. If Reception is closed, please ask Facilities instead.
  5. Open your computer’s display settings to enable screen mirroring. Your display should now be mirrored! [See image below]

Via Laptop HDMI Cable on the Sound Desk

  1. Turn on the projector (see Using the Projector Remote)
  2. Plug your computer into the HDMI cable on the sound desk labelled "Laptop HDMI"
  3. On the Muxlabs video switcher, press the "Projector" button until #4 is highlighted
  4. Once you are done please change the "Projector" button back to #1
